Bear In Heaven Beast Rest Forth Mouth (Dreamboat)
4/5

Beast Rest Forth Mouth is not only something you can listen to when travelling, it actually becomes the trip itself. Bear in Heaven’s voyage is a dream, an atmospheric, spacious and ethereal conquest of sound space. It is a quest around tribal countries, icy glaciers, hazy deserts, windy mountain peaks, fluffy clouds and fiery volcanoes.
Stemming from Georgia and Alabama, Bear in Heaven have gone pop and prog with wisdom. The sharpness and playfulness of ‘Beast in Peace’ opens up a palette of stellar vibes that feel far from distant or cold. The warmth and passion of ‘You Do You’ and ‘Lovesick Teenagers’ are a perfect example of this paradox – vast, intriguing, sensual and passionate in contrast to its wholly extra-terrestrial electronica. ‘Dust Cloud’ and ‘Drug a Wheel’ are the two numbers of introverted and cinematic expansion. But not for long, as ‘Fake Out’ and ‘Casual Goodbye’ provide the final boom of epic juxtapositions.
The residual anxiety of Beast Rest Forth Mouth is made for the ones with itchy feet and great expectations, for they offer challenges and throbbing beauty embodied in escalating and spiral layers of art.
