I find it so much easier to write a review when I like the record in question. So let’s keep this short and to the point - ‘Sea Serpents’ is something quite amazing. In fact, both tracks from this single contain rather marvellous complex guitar harmonies, which hold an airily romantic feel - if you want a summery pair of songs to soundtrack a brisk drive to the coast with a significant other, your car needs this sticking in it. Not got a car? Sharing headphones with a mate on the bus whilst yoofs shout obscenities at each other and an OAP violently coughs down your neck? It won’t matter. Neither of you will care whilst this is playing.
