Salem - King Knight (I Am Sound)

4/5

By: Samuel Smith

Salem (not to be confused with goth metallers "Salem” - I know, this is going to cause cataloguing catastrophes in CD collections EVERYWHERE) are rightly of the assumption that all this willying around in the 6kHz frequency range (treble, for you commoners) is for pussies, and that the real reason anyone listens to music is for colon loosening bass and to get as close as possible to the "brown noise" phenomenon without actually messing themselves in front of their family and friends.

‘King Knight’ is a massive, gothy, distorted mess that pushes musicality to its limits - like Cabaret Voltaire if someone had handed them an MPC, told them to hold off on the experimentation for twenty years, and absorb some mid-90's trance and hip hop.
