My Awesome Compilation - 'The View Is Amazing' (Sore Point)

Adolescents in the UK are becoming ever more susceptible to what medical experts describe as 'emo'. This movement takes its lead from America; although some specialists have traced its origins to a bedsit in Manchester, England in the 1980s filled with gladioli, hearing-aids, and the complete works of Oscar Wilde.
The twenty-first century version of this cultural phenomenon, however, consists largely of soul-purging ballads by pale, sensitive young men. Hailing from Leicester, My Awesome Compilation form part of the British wave which is causing concern amongst parents and teachers due to the self-styled 'emo kids' lack of self-esteem and difficulty with social interaction and an irrational dislike of sports or going outdoors.
Research has been conducted on 'comfort listening', where teens engage in cathartic group therapy sessions by 'emoting'. These exercises often end in an hysterical outpouring of shared grief due to the disconsolate participants' experiences with relationships.
One leading researcher in the field, Dr Horst R. Erzberger, told rockfeedback.com: 'My Awesome Compilation do not pose a serious risk, they seem thoroughly decent boys a la Hundred Reasons and the not-altogether-musically-dissimilar Keane, whose
non-threatening, wistful piano-based refinement they put through the emo-blender on tracks such as 'Giving Up' and 'Butterflies'.'
Dr Erzberger also claimed to be 'intrigued' and 'excited' by the recent collaboration between Dashboard Confessional and REM's Michael Stipe, and later described Biffy Clyro as 'criminally underrated'.
