Yes, this is the sound of Germans having a bloody good time... but, my god, that really isn't a pretty sound.
Very primeval, screamo-trash, The Beatsteaks drudgingly repeat over and over again how the girl is 'never gonna get wise' - we assume upon which the adulteries that the band have committed. Oh well - shit happens.
The highlight of the disc, a grainy and low-budget video to accompany the track, consisting of various mime-esque, bereted band members prancing around in a rather seedy gay rock club/tiki bar, that, we are positive we stumbled into, on a certain debauched night in Berlin couple of years back. Oh, the sweet smell of Germanic rock juice...
