I am truly excited and eager to hear more from this amazing 4 piece female band from Los Angeles ‘Warpaint’! After getting signed to Rough Trade Records late last year they managed to get an EP together along with two amazing music videos to their singles ‘Elephant’ & ‘Stars’.
They are currently working hard on a debut LP hopefully to be released later in the year, with a little help from Grammy Award winning Producer/Musician Tom Biller.

Even though some people might say this experimental art indie band have had a head start into the mainstream because of a former member happens to be Hollywood actress Shannyn Sossamon, I believe that their individuality cancels this out, as they do not conform to the material and genre in which they are producing. Warpaint also are not short of many complements and celebrity fans as a string of musicians and actors have confessed to ‘Warpaint’ being a favourite of theres, including R.H.C.P base John Frusciante and the late Heath Ledger, which is pretty amazing considering they are yet to release a studio album.
Loosen up and a chill-out as you work your way through the six tracks on offer to you from these very talented ladies and simmer down to their folk like cherub voices along with thier heavy hypnotic guitar riths and meseric drum loops.
The EP entitled ‘Exquisite Corpse’ is just a little taster of what else is to come and with the highlight ‘Beetles’ being nearly 7 minutes long you will enjoy numerous elements which will blow your mind.
