If you really are going to theorise about music you really should have an understanding of syntax and sentence structure before hitting the keyboard. As for the idea you posit in the first para, it's absolute nonsense. Are you really saying that The Fall's output would be rendered meaningless if this single wasn't much cop? Is that a theory you have for everyone? Like, say, Neil Young? According to your ill-considered theory, his old stuff must be shit because his new stuff isn't that great. You're mad, woman.
